Pine Trees at Playground
We need to determine if we want to cut just the three dead/damaged trees in the stand by the playground, or all 11 trees in the stand. In May, we spent $950 to limb up the trees around the playground, including this group of trees. A week or two later, two of the pine trees were damaged by an apparent lightening strike. Those are the trees we now need to take down, in addition to another that I’m told is infested with beetles. I found a quote and email from August of 2022 stating that two trees were damaged by lightening and needed to be removed.
